The loss of a dear friend...
This has been a very hard week and the weeks leading up to it have not been easy.
Pooh bear, our cat and the wise sentinel of our home, had a number of health conditions that were draining his life energy.
We put him down this past Monday.
For pictures and the full story, you can check it out at my other blog
And as they say, life goes on..so what is on the books for the rest of August.
First and foremost is time off...time away from my computer, my phone, and all electronic devices...ok..maybe not TV or music...but some time away from work!
Then I will take my annual work retreat and plan out 2007, redo my vision, mission and look over all areas of my work and my life and do some course corrections.
A big difference this year is that I am opening up my annual retreat to those who would like to join me in the process and you can too!
Re: Medscape TCM opinions
Read one by a Dr. Sampson who attempted to disprove
TCM theoretically. It was such a bunch of garbage that I was compelled to email him and tell him so. I suggested that perhaps millions of people who have had wonderful results with TCM can't all be wrong, and that we should be trying to integrate TCM and Western instead of disparaging TCM.
I feel some concern about these types of opinions because many people think that "M.D." after a name makes the person an authority -- apparently not true in this case, as he hadn't done his homework and didn't know what he was talking about.
Thanks, Eric, for all the wonderful information you disseminate to patients and practitioners.
