Well let me tell you, you know you are in the right place when the director of admissions is more upset and disappointed than you are about not being quite ready to go to their school.....
Yesterday, while in NYC, I headed off to see the Director of Admissions at Tri State about starting this year....well the news was the news....I have some more requirements to get first!
There is a term in Chinese called shr Jung, or right timing...Well this works out just fine...but can I just tell you how touched I am at Sandra's response....it was so sweet. So...I will spend this year getting my act together to be ready for the next.
With the suicide of one of my old Tai Chi students, hurricane Katrina, this doesn't seem so bad..that is not to say that I am not disapointed...but what a way to be disapointed...This lady needs to work in the U.N. but I am sure Tri state will not part with her!
While I have many reasons to go to acupuncture school one of the best is the amazing treatment I have received from her. In a world we, at least in NYC, we are lucky to go to a store and not get abused, Sandra brings new meaning to excellent customer service...after all...a student is in fact a customer and with, I think, 5 acupuncture schools in the city, it couldn't be more important.
The lesson here? Your potential patients and patients are actually customers and could always take there business elseware....
