While exploring the Acupuncture education system, I have come to re realize that there is absolutely nothing that prepare students for being in business for themselves.
It is so clear that the goal of most acupuncture schools is simply to import students and export people skilled in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. No where in there is any real education or support to create successful acupuncturists!
In addition most schools and heads of schools do a great deal for the acupuncture cause, with the belief that it will improve the profession for its practitioners.
That is your job. It is your job to get the additional education in how to start, build and maintain a successful practice that can, in turn, support you!
While it is true that acupuncture is a growing field that does not guarantee nor actually help its practitioners will be able to make a living.
